Hello,
I'm Spice! I'm an active little boy who came here with my mother who already got a forever home with a very nice man who lives near the big lake. I have some older kits to play with by I really would like my own family.
I'm still a little unsure of myself so I'd probably do better in a home without small children. I have a great black and white pattern in my fur and it makes me look very unique.
UPDATE: Spice came to us as a very scared little guy and hasn't gotten much better over time even with the work we've been doing with him. We all work and don't really have the time for the intense trust work that needs to be done.
IF you have time and would like to try to work with Spice, he would be a very nice kitty. Our only other alternative at this time is to find him a barn home which I'm not really wanting to do.
Please help if you can!
UPDATE July 2017: Sometimes we take in kitties that have been psychologically so traumatized that they never accept humans and do not allow physical contact with them. Spice has obviously been traumatized somewhere along the way and even as a kitten he did not trust humans at all. He has been with us for over two years. He MIGHT make a good "barn cat" but it would need to be a very secure one where he was provided for and watched over. If you would be willing to adopt one who otherwise would not get a home of his own then please offer this beautiful boy a forever home. He is great with the other kitties in our home but if you're looking for a lap cat Spice is not the cat for you. He has no health issues and is up to date on vaccinations, is spayed and microchipped. I would prefer that Spice and Artemis be adopted together since their bond is a strong one. I am willing to foster Spice for the rest of his life, however it would be greatly beneficial to him if he had his own home and more individual attention so he could blossom into the companion I know he can become.
